Terms of service
Effective · Morco Labs LLC
Anectico is operated by Morco Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms are between you and Morco Labs LLC and describe the conditions for using Anectico’s website, hosted observability platform, APIs, and integrations. A separate written agreement with Morco Labs LLC takes priority where it expressly addresses the same subject.
1. Your agreement and account
By creating an account or using the service after these terms are presented to you, you agree to them. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf. You must be an adult and able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law.
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and API keys, and give access only to authorized people or agents. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and for the permissions assigned to your organization’s members and agents. Tell us promptly at hello@anectico.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. The service and private preview
Anectico helps you collect and investigate application telemetry, connect activity to affected users, and operate workflows such as alerts and linked tickets. Features, limits, and availability depend on your access and configuration.
Anectico is currently in private preview. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may contain errors, interruptions, or incomplete functionality. Unless separately agreed in writing, preview access has no uptime, support-response, backup, or data-recovery guarantee. Keep independent copies of information you need.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a launch date. Any paid service requires separately communicated pricing and payment terms; joining the waitlist or connecting an integration does not by itself authorize a charge.
3. Your data and responsibilities
You retain your rights in data you submit. You grant Anectico the permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display that data to provide, secure, and support the service and carry out your authorized instructions. This includes processing by service providers needed for the features you use.
You are responsible for having the rights, notices, consents, and other legal bases needed to collect and submit information, including information about your application’s users. Configure appropriate masking, content policies, retention, and access controls. Do not submit unnecessary secrets, payment-card information, or sensitive personal information.
Our privacy policy describes our handling of personal information. If your use requires a data-processing agreement, specific hosting region, or other contractual safeguard, arrange it with us before submitting that data. These terms do not replace a required data-processing agreement.
4. Acceptable use
Use Anectico only for lawful, authorized purposes. You must not:
- Access another person’s account, project, systems, or data without permission.
- Bypass authentication, permission checks, usage limits, or other security controls.
- Distribute malicious code, deliberately disrupt the service, or perform abusive automated activity.
- Use the service for unlawful surveillance, infringement, fraud, or violations of others’ privacy.
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to connect a third-party account.
Contact us before performing security testing that could affect the service or other users.
5. Third-party connections and actions
You may connect accounts you control in services such as Slack, GitHub, Jira, and Linear. You authorize Anectico to use the permissions you grant to carry out configured actions, including sending notifications, creating tickets, handling interactions, and synchronizing status. Review the destination and content before enabling a workflow.
Automated rules and authorized agent actions can change information in connected systems. You are responsible for configuring their scope, permissions, and approval requirements. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and charges. Anectico does not control them and is not endorsed by those providers merely because an integration is available.
You can disconnect a provider in Anectico and revoke its authorization with the provider. Existing tickets, messages, and historical records are not automatically removed. Separately configured webhooks, including Jira admin webhooks, must also be removed in the provider’s settings when no longer needed.
6. AI-assisted investigations
AI-generated answers and suggested actions can be incomplete or wrong. Review the underlying evidence and the likely effect of an action before relying on it. You remain responsible for decisions and actions taken using the output. Do not use Anectico as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions or decisions about people with legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Anectico materials
Anectico and its licensors retain their rights in the service, branding, and materials we provide. These terms permit you to use them as part of your authorized use of the service; they do not transfer ownership. Open-source components, SDKs, and other separately licensed materials remain governed by their own licenses.
8. Suspension and ending access
You may stop using the service at any time and contact us to close an account or request deletion. Export information you need and remove unwanted connections before closing access.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security threat, abuse, a breach of these terms, or a legal requirement. Where practical and permitted, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. We may end or materially change the preview and will give reasonable notice where practical.
Ending access does not automatically remove copies already sent to third-party services. Retention and deletion of information held by Anectico are described in the privacy policy.
9. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the preview service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of telemetry, investigation results, or third-party actions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer protections. Responsibility for claims remains subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement.
10. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will publish the revised version and its date, and provide notice of material changes before they take effect where required. Changes do not apply retroactively. If you do not agree with an applicable change, stop using the affected service and contact us about closing access.
